I use Adobe Flash CS 5.5 and do all the actual drawing and coloring with one shade there. Then I maximize the screen while maintaining the entire picture and print screen. I paste it into Adobe Photoshop CS 5.1, change the Hue and Saturation, Dodge and Burn it, and then add a slight Grain Filter. It's alright for now since I don't know how to move a picture from Flash to Photoshop without losing quality, but I'll be screwed for larger pictures.

thanks so much, all of it really helped,i have flash CS 5.5 too and i didnt even know you could do that kind of stuff with it, so ive mostly been using paint as you can proably tell ;_;. so are you new to deviantart? and your charactors look interesting,whats the story behind them?
